It is informed that the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be launched in 2022

A sequel to 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Supposedly will be the entry into the franchise that will be launched in 2022. While Call of Duty: Vanguard developer Sledgehammer Games could be the current delivery in which many fans have their eyes in the next Months, is the next year's game of Infinity Ward that you will probably find even more exciting.

News from this alleged sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare comes through Tom Henderson, who has been a reliable source of information in the past when it comes to the Call of Duty franchise. Henderson said today in social networks that it is said that the key name for this Game of Call of Duty 2022 is Cortez Project according to what he has ever heard. He then came to clarify that although this could be the current internal key name, it is expected to be a follow-up of Modern builder.

In general, the idea that Activision and Infinity Ward would seek to make a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not surprising at all. In recent years, Modern builder has been by far the most successful entrance of Call of Duty, both in terms of sales and critical reception. As such, with Infinity Ward once again as the study that would do the next game of the series, it only had a logical sense for a modern, the sequel will be in the file.

Unfortunately, if this report is accurate, it is likely that we do not know it with certainty until next year. In recent history, Activision has remained silent about the new Call of Duty game of each year until the end of summer. So if Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is going to be revealed, we will have to wait a little more to see it formally announced.
