Sonic Colors Ultimate: How to turn Rival Rush free

Sound colors: Ultimativ is the HD-Remaster of the criticism-celebrated Sonic Colors for the Wii. In contrast to its original counterpart, Ultimate offers a number of new features that give this game even more content than it already has. One of them, which was advertised prior to the publication of the game, is The recording of the Rival Rush mode.

So unlock Rival Rush

Rival Rush is a mode in which you compete in a selected act in the six main worlds against Metal Sonic. Imagine it like a glorified time attack mode. You will not really face him how they had done it in earlier games in which he was a boss. Imagine it would be more like he was in Sonic CD in the Stardust Speedway Zone, less the attacks and interruptions.

To unlock Rival Rush, you have to collect enough Red Star Rings in a specific world to unlock. The game does not specify directly, which is enough, but by playing you have to collect half of the Red Star Rings on a planet. Each planet has 30 rings each, so you have to find at least 15 to unlock it.

When unlocking Rival Rush you will find that Metal Sonics face appears above the letter level of a particular ACT node.

It can be a harder task to complete them on the first time. Many Red Star Rings are not easily accessible without certain WISP capabilities. It's best to visit completed levels after completing the last level and the endpoint. At this point, you have unlocked each level as well as all voice lights in all worlds.

Remember that this must be released individually for each world. So if you want to compete against Metal Sonic in all six worlds, you must seek at least 15 rings per world. Fortunately, the rings in five groups are distributed in the six files.
