TEMTEM for PS4 and Xbox One canceled, will rather be on the new generation

Temtem is a great title that seems to be the first real competition that Pokemon has long had. The game, developed by a small independent team via Kickstarter made an ad today indicating that they will not leave the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Instead, they will focus on the preparation of SWITCH versions, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

10 Reasons You Should Buy Monster Crown For PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or Steam!

Contributors who have not yet claimed a key for the PC version can request a full refund or exchange their keys to the Switch, PS5 or Xbox SX versions instead.

The decision came from having a small development team. As they want to support the game in the future, they did not want to disperse too much by preparing for five distinct versions. In addition, when they offer updates, they will have to test and individually code the six versions, which would have been too difficult to manage for a small team, in addition to providing excellent content patches.

This is undoubtedly a disappointment for the supporters of the current generation of the game, but I think they made a judicious decision here, and their refund policy is very nice. TEMTEM started with a very successful launch, having sold half a million on Steam. What is doubly impressive if you think that Pokemon fans are not really players on PC. Imagine how much they sell on the switch!
