War in Ukraine: Sony finally takes position, closes the PlayStation Store Russian and donates several million
This is, fourteen days after the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Sony Interactive Entertainment finally took a position on the conflict by announcing drastic measures. Like Microsoft and other publishers and other studios, the Japanese firm suspends all the sales of its games in Russia, its hardware too and closely firm the Playstation Store in the country led by Vladimir Putin. It is a great decision obviously for Sony Interactive Entertainment which calls for peace in Ukraine and who had already shown signs of support by surreptitiously canceling the exit of Gran Turismo 7 a few days ago. But that's not all, in order to go further in this support, Sony Corporation also announces a donation of $ 2 million at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the International NGO Save the Children, to support the victims of this tragedy. A gesture that will leave no one indifferent.
